The Good Batch — Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya

I am a huge fan of brunch places. I love the ambience, the sizzling sounds from the kitchen, the chatters from the people around me, and the heavenly smell of the freshly brewed coffee.

If you go to Damansara Uptown often, you’ll notice that some certain areas are always packed with cars up front. Take The Good Batch for instance, this cafe never runs out of guests, they’re even willing to be on the waiting list for a taste of their yummy brunch and coffee!

I once walked in front of The Good Batch with my hubby, we stopped and glanced at their oh-so-simple looking menu. Just a few seconds after, a friendly waitress at The Good Batch quickly went out of the shop and greeted us warmly. How amusing! I believe The Good Batch has won a lot of hearts because they even pay attention to such sweet little things. They have won ours immediately!

Sometimes, people don’t just look for delicious or affordable food when they walk into a restaurant but I believe there are more reasons that draw them in and make them stay. For me, a nice and warm staff is one of the major reasons to keep coming back to a restaurant.

Okay, enough with the chit chat. Now let’s talk about their food!

The Angmoh, much obliged!

If you’re looking for a heavy brunch to start your day, The Angmoh is indeed a perfect choice. The juicy button mushrooms combined perfectly with the creamy scrambled egg, pan-fried potatoes, ham, grilled tomatoes and butter toast, plus, with a cup of baked bean. Gosh, now I’m craving for this!

Closer look to this heavenly sent big breakfast.

Ordered their popular favorite, Portobella Road for hubby who was craving for perfectly poached eggs. It is sinful and extremely delicious!

A brunch time without a cup of flat white is just boring. So here’s an obligatory coffee shot!

About pricing, The Good Batch can be a tad expensive, but I assure you, it’s gonna be worth it. Expect to spend around RM 40++ per person including other charges.

This is definitely not gonna be my last visit to The Good Batch, in fact, I’ll be back for more brunch goodness!

P.S. Finding a parking space can be tough especially during weekends and lunch time, so brace yourself!
